Cupping Method

Cupping is a method of providing suction created by a cup creating a vacuum above the skin of the patient. In TCM it involves in placing glass, plastic or bamboo cups above the skin. The therapy is use to relieve stagnation and it is used in treatment of respiratory disease such as common cold, pneumonia, bronchitis. In addition, cupping is also used to treat back, neck, shoulder and other muscular pains. After treatment, a round sometime a red or dark red spot will be left on the skin. The mark will disappear in 1-2 weeks. The procedure is completely safe and painless.
